How to install flanges in groove fittings

The installation of flanges in groove fittings should follow certain procedures, which are mainly divided into the following steps:

1、 Check the sealing ring to ensure that it matches the specifications of the pipe fittings and is intact and undamaged.

2、 Remove impurities by wiping off the dirt on the flange end face and removing burrs to prevent contamination or scratches on the rubber ring.

3、 Apply lubricant to the outer and sealing surfaces of the sealing ring to reduce component wear.

4、 Insert the sealing ring slowly into the pipe end by sliding it in.

5、 The end face of the steel pipe, flange, and rubber ring should be aligned and tightly attached to the calibration position.

6、 Apply lubricant to the flange on the side where it comes into contact with the gasket for lubrication.

7、 Insert the bolt and tighten it for fixation.
